How do I use Apple Pay™ to make purchases with my Apple Watch?

First, make sure that the merchant accepts Apple Pay. Look for these contactless payment and/or Apple Pay symbols at checkout.

Once you confirm that the merchant accepts Apple Pay, unlock your Apple Watch if needed by entering your four digit PIN. Double tap the small button on the side of the Apple Watch to display your debit card. To make a payment, hold the Apple Watch a few centimeters away from the contactless payment terminal with the display facing towards the reader. A gentle vibration and beep will let you know your purchase was successful.
