What is the availability period for check deposits made through the BBA App?

The total deposit will be made available on the next business day after the date the deposit is made, if made from Monday to Friday, before the cut-off time. Bank cut-off time is 4:00 pm Eastern time. Deposits made on weekends, federal holidays or after the 4:00 pm closing time will be processed the next business day.

If you make multiple check deposits through the BBA App within a 5 business day period and the sum of the deposits exceeds the US$5,000 limit, the excess amount will be available in increments of up to US$5,000 every 5 business days.

The bank, at its sole discretion, may extend the availability period of a deposited check. Reasons may be based on the age of the account, any issues with cashing the check, or other factors the bank deems relevant.
